INSTRUCTIONS
I’m using stainless steel single-wall cups by the time I made it to this recipe. It seems to take much less time to heat the ingredients in this recipe.
#Put PHASE A into 1st stainless steel cup or mason jar
#Put PHASE B into 2nd stainless steel cup or mason jar
If you’re using two stainless steel cups:
#Place both cups into a very shallow pan
#Add a minimal amount of water. (Too much water could cause cups to tip over while heating.)
#The heat transfer between the pot/water/cups will help melt the ingredients much faster than when using glass.
#Heat on low to medium for 10-15 minutes.
If you’re using two bowls:
#Place 1st bowl over a small pot of water
#Place 2nd bowl over another small pot of water
#Heat both pots of water for 25 minutes
If you’re using two mason jars:
#Place both jars into a pot big enough for both of them to stand without touching each other.
#Put enough water inside the pot to match or exceed the height of the ingredients in the jar AND to last more than 25 minutes.
AFTER HEATING
#FIRST, add PHASE B (collagen) into PHASE A and mix
#Pour PHASE A+B (water+collagen) into PHASE C (oils), and mix with stick blender in bursts for 30 seconds to 1 minute straight.
#You should see the mix turn opaque
#Place stainless steel cup in a bowl (or pot) of cool tap water to speed cooling.
#Pulse with a stick blender for another 30 seconds to 1 minute
#Add COOL DOWN ingredients and stir vigorously or use a stick blender for 15-30 seconds
#Once fully cooled, add to a final bottle/container
MY NOTES
#Soft pink hair milk…but only for a little while. LOL! First, if you’re protein sensitive or low porosity, skip the Hydrolyzed Collagen
#I’ve used this both on my skin and my hair. It actually feels pretty darn good on the skin too. That’s probably because of the Hydrolyzed collagen, which is great for the skin.
#The beet root powder will only last for a few days. For a more permanent color, use a sure fire body safe colorant.

Girl you come up with some great recipes. I can’t wait to get settled with my move and in the kitchen. I will never have to shop at Sally’s again!. This looks good and I love collagen too. Thx you!
Thank you so much! 😀
